Noordkade - Cultural Heritage

In its museum, SIEMei (Stichting IndustrieErfgoed Meierij) shows various examples of the industrial and artisanal activity from the Meierij.

The collection ranges from typesetting machines, wood chips and a dragline, to old telephones, tools and a band saw.

In their own workshop and forge on the Noordkade in Veghel, the volunteers of SIEMei refurbish old machines and materials.

In addition, SIEMei is actively involved in projects in the public space, such as the refurbishment of the Heilig Hartplein and the renovation of the railway crossing at the Vorstenbosscheweg in Veghel.

The restoration of the former 's-Hertogenbosch Station Clock, which now adorns the entrance to the Proeffabriek in Veghel, was also carried out by volunteers from SIEMei.
