AzureThis 7.5 kilometer long walking route has the theme of the Moerputten nature reserve and the Moerputtenbrug.
The Moerputten nature reserve consists of many different types of terrain.
There are hay meadows, reed beds, swamps and open waters.
The area has a rich but fragile flora and fauna.
In the nature reserve is also the Moerputtenbrug, part of the Halve Zolenlijn.
The 600-metre-long Moerputten railway bridge, built in 1881 to 1887, was opened as a footpath in October 2006 after extensive restoration.
The walk starts at the Jeroen Bosch Hospital, which can be reached by public transport.
Car can be parked in the parking lot at Deutersestraat, 5223 GV 's-Hertogenbosch.
The walking route is based on the yellow walking route of Staatsbosbeheer.
