AzureAfter yesterday's hard day you can just walk to the refugio of Valença.
Along the way you will pass a mini albergue where you can eat and drink "a Donativo". In essence, you could eat there for free, but then this restaurant will no longer have a long life. In the garden there is a wishing tree. Bet most will wish they made it to Santiogo.
Valença is a touristic town where you can eat delicious food in the city center. If the Albergue is full, as in our case, continue towards Tui in Spain. The River Minho is the border between these 2 countries. If you cross the steel international bridge you are in Spain.
In villa San Clemente you pay a little more than usual, but then you also get your own bedroom. We recommended this hostal, especially because it is cooked on some days. See also the POIs.
