Sturegatan is a street in central Stockholm, with the route from Stureplan to Valhallaroad where it turns into Lidingövägen. The street is named after the noble family ofSture, whose most famous members include Regent Sten Sture the Elder, SvanteNilsson (Sture) and Sten Sture the Younger.In the early 1860s, the need for a new street along the east side avHumlegården andthis was also in 1865, on private initiative, through these located cabbage farm andgarden steppe hands. In 1873, completed the expansion of man's road and streetnamed as the "Sturenkatu. In the 1880s it was extended and given its present route.Given its current name the street in connection with the great name of the audit in 1885.Along the street are among other hotels Anglais, Sturecompagniet, Sturebadet, NobelFoundation (14) and Cinema Park.
