Situated outside the town wall in the north on the way to the Aranyik area of Chakangrao, an ordination hall is the only building found in this ancient temple. Only its square base of large size has survived. This ordination hall was built close to an ancient canal called Khlong Tho Thong Daeng from which waters flow into a moat dug around the ordination hall for marking a boundary. The base of the ordination hall was made of laterite and brick with four receding tiers and a front stairway. On the fourth tier were found two sema stone pedestals erected at the front only, not all around the base. Presumably, these sema stone pedestals were later built. Moreover, traces of pillars supporting a roof extending along the sides of the ordination hall were found. Now that there is no evidence for other buildings in this temple, it is possible that this ordination hall was mutually used in the case of other temples in the neighbourhood having no ordination halls of their own.
