Herzegovina es una región histórica en los Alpes Dináricos y en la actualidad la mitad meridional de Bosnia y Herzegovina.
La mayor parte de su territorio es montañoso, incluido dentro de la conformación karst; excepto en el valle central del río Neretva. La ciudad principal es Móstar, situada en el centro de la región. Otras ciudades importantes son Trebinje, Konjic y Foča. Las fronteras entre Bosnia y Herzegovina no están claras, y son a menudo, motivo de disputa.
