Un lugar de ninfas... Un hermoso edificio es el edificio de la fuente en la Comandancia de Sint-Pieters-Voeren. Aquí fluye el riachulo la Voer que da nombre a esta área. La fuente de la Voer no se encuentra en el edificio, sino que brota un poco más allá. A través del edificio fluyen hasta 4.000 litros por minuto provenientes del área de la fuente de la Voer situada más adelante.
El edificio es una especie de nymphaion. Un nymphaion es un edificio que se construía en la época griega y romana dedicado a las ninfas "que viven en fuentes y ríos".
