El Moervaart ha formado en tres lugares recesos en la zona pantanosa a la altura del Overledebrug, esta parte de Reepkens está inundada tanto en invierno como en verano. Este pantano (aprox. 8 ha) está dominado por juncos, hierba de marea y espadaña.
