Michelbeke es una aldea rural en la provincia belga de Flandes Oriental y es una parte del municipio de Brakel. La aldea, que se encuentra en las Ardenas flamencas y en la región de Dender, tiene una superficie de 4,06 km² y contaba con 902 habitantes el 1 de enero de 2001.
Michelbeke se menciona por primera vez alrededor de 1150. El nombre significa en germánico arroyo de barro. En la Edad Media, Michelbeke formaba parte de la baronía de Zottegem. A mediados del siglo XVII, Michelbeke fue vendido a Pieter Blondel, el señorío de Sint-Maria-Oudenhove, quien estableció la señoría de Sint-Maria-Oudenhove.
