El pequeño pueblo de Sint-Paulus debe su nombre a la capilla de Sint-Paulus. La capilla de Sint-Paulus se encuentra en el bloque de Kapelle, al norte y cerca de la Pauwelhoeve. Se construyó en un sitio que ya estaba habitado en el periodo galorromano. No parece existir ninguna relación entre la villa que probablemente se encontraba allí y la capilla de finales de la Edad Media, que se cree fue construida a principios del siglo XVI. Es un edificio de ladrillo en estilo gótico tardío. En la capilla se conservan, entre otras cosas, algunos objetos de arte del siglo XV.
