De Overmolen está ubicada en la Blekte a unos metros del punto de bicicleta 25. Esta es la última de los tres molinos de agua que Hofstade alguna vez conoció. La rueda de agua ha desaparecido. Dentro del molino todavía hay tres pares de piedras de moler. El propio molino de agua, desafortunadamente, no está protegido, pero afortunadamente figura en la lista de patrimonio valioso. Originalmente, el Molenbeek desembocaba en Hofstade en la 'Oude Dender' cerca del pueblo. Más tarde, el arroyo fluía a través de esta Oude Dender hasta Gijzegem. Hoy en día, el Molenbeek se ha cubierto completamente un poco más adelante y fluye invisiblemente debajo de la calle Hendrik Consciencestraat hacia su 'nueva' desembocadura en el Dender, al final de esta calle.
