La colegial Santa María del año 965 fue completamente reconstruida en estilo gótico a principios del siglo XVI, a excepción de su torre. De ese mismo período datan las hermosas vidrieras renacentistas. Su espléndida capilla del Santo Sacramento, con sus catorce bajorrelieves barrocos, recuerda que San Martín fue en 1246 el punto de partida del Día del Sacramento, dedicado al culto del Santo Sacramento. Es la memoria de este evento la que llevará al Papa León XIII a concederle el título de Basílica Menor. Monumento clasificado por AR (15-01-1936) Reincorporado a la lista del PE de Valonia.
