Kanne es un lugar en el sureste de Limburgo belga. Es una subcomuna del municipio de Riemst y se encuentra justo en la frontera belgo-neerlandesa, bajo el humo de Maastricht. Kanne se ubica a la orilla del río Jeker en el valle entre el Plateau de Caestert y la Muizenberg. Desde la década de 1930, el pueblo ha sido dividido en dos por el canal Alberto. La parte al lado noreste del canal se llama Neerkanne; la parte suroeste se llama Opkanne. Al norte limita con el municipio neerlandés de Maastricht. La parte sur de Opkanne se encuentra en el municipio valón de Wezet. La frontera lingüística y la frontera entre las dos partes del país atraviesan aquí algunas parcelas. Núcleos cercanos son Vroenhoven, Eben-Emael y Zichen-Zussen-Bolder.
