Velm es una aldea en la provincia belga de Limburgo y un municipio de Sint-Truiden. El pueblo tiene una superficie de 10,45 km² y contaba en 2001 con 2175 habitantes. Velm es una aldea de Haspengouw situada a 6 kilómetros al suroeste de Sint-Truiden. Al este pasa la N80, la carretera de Sint-Truiden a Namur y al oeste corre la línea de tren de Sint-Truiden a Landen, donde Velm tuvo una estación hasta 1957.
