Korbeek-Lo es un lugar y una subcomuna de Bierbeek en la provincia belga de Brabante Flamenco. Korbeek-Lo fue un municipio independiente hasta la reestructuración municipal de 1977. Según algunos, el nombre 'Korbeek' significa: "arroyo murmurante, suavemente susurrante"; y 'Lo' se refiere a un bosque. Otros lo relacionan con el origen germánico más plausible kurta baki cerca de Lo. En 1107, el nombre del lugar aparece por primera vez como Corbeke, en otros textos se menciona el pueblo como Cortbeke y Cortebeke. Sin embargo, el lugar ya existía desde antes, ya que en 1102 ya había una iglesia que debía realizar pagos anuales a la abadía de Sint-Truiden.
