Zevergem es una aldea en la provincia belga de Flandes Oriental y es un municipio anexo de De Pinte. La aldea se encuentra a orillas del Escalda.
Zevergem es una de las aldeas ribereñas más antiguas de la zona del Escalda. La mención más antigua del pueblo data de 964, cuando todavía se le conocía como Sewaringhem, un nombre derivado de Saiwiwaringa heim.
