Discreto y algo escondido entre unos prados y las estribaciones del Silsombos se encuentra el Canal de Piedra, un vestigio de tiempos pasados. El Canal de Piedra es un acueducto que transporta el agua del Molenbeek sobre la de su afluente, el Weesbeek. Aseguró que el agua del Molenbeek, después de haber alimentado el molino de Heersemmolen en Veltem-Beisem (Herent), pudiera ser trasladada al molino de agua de Ter Balkt (Kampenhout). El Molenbeek (arriba) fluye sobre el Weesbeek (abajo).
