Las ruinas del castillo de Montaigle se encuentran en Falaën, una localidad del municipio belga de Onhaye.
En Montaigle, en el pintoresco valle de la Molignée, se han encontrado vestigios de presencia humana desde al menos el 7000 a.C. Entre los años 250 y 400 d.C., la roca de 160 m de altura fue un refugio para la población gala-romana. En este lugar, Gilles de Berlaymont mandó construir una residencia fortificada. En 1298, esta fue vendida a Gwijde de Dampierre. Posteriormente, su hijo y sucesor Gwijde de Namur se convirtió en el propietario. En 1309 hizo construir allí un castillo.
