En el cementerio de Evere encontrarás a bastantes celebridades. Aquí están enterrados muchos exalcaldes: De Brouckère, Buls, Max, pero también Jules Anspach, que inauguró solemnemente el cementerio en vida. Era un cementerio que era la preferencia de los liberales, entre los que se encontraba el fundador de la ULB, Pierre-Théodore Verhaegen, quien es recordado el 20 de noviembre (la fecha de fundación) por los estudiantes de la ULB y la VUB. Otros fallecidos famosos que allí descansan son Raymond Goethals, Paul Vanden Boeynants y el pintor francés Jacques-Louis David.
