Si estás en Amberes el fin de semana, ven a la Plaza del Teatro. Allí, el sábado y el domingo se celebran el Mercado Exótico y el Mercado de Aves. El sábado puedes degustar especialidades locales y... exóticas en el Mercado Exótico. El domingo se celebra nuevamente el Mercado de Aves. En el siglo XIII se comerciaba aquí con palomas mensajeras, mientras que ahora las aves, el ganado y los roedores forman solo una pequeña parte de la gran oferta que encontrarás en el mercado.
Consejo de Simon: La Plaza del Teatro es completamente accesible para personas en silla de ruedas y definitivamente vale la pena visitarla.
