El auténtico parque de hayas en estilo paisajístico inglés es para muchos el punto de descanso definitivo después de una larga caminata. En su momento, el Beukenpark fue la propiedad de la familia 'Van Zuylen de Nyvelt'. El castillo también se conocía como 'Les Aubépines'. Hoy en día es propiedad del municipio y alberga en la villa los servicios administrativos.
