La Hérou es una subida rocosa que da vista a un meandro del Ourthe en el macizo de las Ardenas, cerca del pueblo de Nadrin, entre Houffalize y La Roche-en-Ardenne en la provincia de Luxemburgo. Está en la lista de patrimonio excepcional de la región valona.
Unos kilómetros río abajo de la confluencia del Ourthe occidental y oriental, que forman el Ourthe, este río, que llega del este, se encuentra con una impresionante barrera rocosa de 1.500 m de largo y aproximadamente 80 m de altura. El río solo puede sortear este obstáculo natural desde el sur, creando un meandro agudo, y luego gira completamente hacia el norte mientras se desliza a lo largo de la base occidental de la roca.
