Triskele (una forma triangular) es un símbolo muy antiguo. Puede significar vida-muerte-renacimiento , pasado-presente-futuro, tierra-agua-cielo, etc. Está conectado con el tiempo, el movimiento y los cambios. Triskele es un espacio espiritual donde descansar, contemplar la vida y el tiempo, observar y escuchar la naturaleza.
La fête de mai fue fundada en 2001 en el municipio de Gesves y está organizada por la asociación sin ánimo de lucro Vagabond'Art.
