El aparcamiento en el lugar de amarre de los botes turísticos en el embalse de Oker es un gran lugar para una pausa para el café. Desde la pequeña terraza detrás de la taquilla, justo después del puente sobre el embalse, se contempla este idílico embalse en el oeste de Harz en el estado federal de Baja Sajonia. Con sus laderas boscosas y caras de roca desnuda, el valle de Oker es uno de los valles fluviales más hermosos de las montañas de Harz, muy apreciado por los motoristas.
