Büdingen es una ciudad alemana situada en el distrito de Wetteraukreis en Hesse. Es conocida por sus murallas medievales que se mantienen muy bien conservadas y las pintorescas casas de vigas.
Büdingen está situado al sur del distristo de Wetteraukreis a los pies del volcán Vogelsberg, a una altura de aproximadamente 160 m y a orillas del arroyo Seemenbach . Büdingen pertenecía históricamente a Oberhessen.
