Ludenberg es un distrito de Düsseldorf, colindante con Grafenberg, Gerresheim, Hubbelrath, Mörsenbroich y Rath. Aunque con una superficie de 6,26 km² es grande, Ludenberg cuenta únicamente con alrededor de 8.100 habitantes. El distrito está caracterizado por bosques y terrenos agrícolas en un paisaje montañoso. Ludenberg no tiene un centro y las numerosas urbanizaciones están muy separadas. Dado que a menudo colindan directamente con los distritos vecinos, las áreas construidas son erróneamente percibidas como parte de los distritos de Grafenberg, Gerresheim o Mörsenbroich. El distrito de Ludenberg es desconocido para muchos residentes de Düsseldorf, aunque partes de Ludenberg pertenecen a las zonas residenciales más caras de la capital del estado y aquí se encuentran la famosa avenida de castaños, el hipódromo, el club Rochus y las clínicas estatales rinlandesas.
