El Hospital Marien de Witten es un hospital católico en Witten. Cada año, se atienden a más de 21,000 pacientes de forma hospitalaria y aproximadamente 42,000 pacientes de forma ambulatoria. La clínica es un hospital docente académico de las universidades de Bochum y Witten/Herdecke.
El Hospital Marien fue inaugurado el 8 de noviembre de 1858. La comunidad católica firmó un contrato con la casa madre de las hermanas vicentinas en Paderborn, que se hicieron cargo del cuidado. Se llevaron a cabo una serie de ampliaciones. En 1903, el edificio se había elevado en dos pisos, de modo que se disponía de más de 220 camas. En 1926 se comenzó a construir un nuevo edificio. Durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial, un ataque aéreo el 12 de diciembre de 1944 causó graves daños al edificio. El 19 de marzo de 1945, otro ataque aéreo muy intenso destruyó casi completamente el edificio. La reconstrucción duró dos años. En 1959 se establecieron dos casas para las hermanas. Siguieron construcciones de expansión hacia el norte. Se llevaron a cabo más obras en 1982 y 2004. El hospital cuenta actualmente con un aparcamiento subterráneo. Desde mediados de 2008, el hospital pertenece al Grupo St. Vincenz Ruhr GmbH.
