La central eléctrica de Walsum es una central de carbón en Duisburg-Walsum y se encuentra en el terreno de la antigua mina Walsum, justo a orillas del Rin.
En el sitio de Duisburg-Walsum, se construyó en 1928 una planta de energía para satisfacer la demanda de vapor de la mina Walsum. En 1957, se amplió con un bloque de generación de 68 MW, seguido en 1959 y 1960 por dos bloques de generación de 150 MW cada uno.
