El arroyo Zschampert es un afluente por la izquierda de la Blanka Elster. Fluye a través del distrito de Miltitz en Leipzig y hoy recibe su agua principalmente del lago Kulkwitzer, ya que su curso superior entre Seebenisch y Knautnaundorf se ha secado.
Desde Miltitz, el Zschampert fluye pasado Lindennaundorf y Rückmarsdorf y forma a lo largo de amplias secciones la frontera entre Leipzig y Markranstädt o Leipzig y Schkeuditz. Entre Rückmarsdorf y Burghausen, pasa por debajo en un túnel de 100 m de largo, siete metros por debajo del nivel del agua del canal Elster-Saale, y desemboca en Domholz en el Alte Luppe.
