El faro de Kampen se encuentra en Kampen, en el núcleo de Geest de la isla de Sylt. La torre blanca lleva una banda negra.
En la época en que Sylt pertenecía al reino danés, el rey Friedrich VII de Dinamarca dio la orden en 1853 de construir un faro en el punto más alto de la isla, el acantilado rojo. Por lo tanto, el nombre original de esta baliza era Acantilado Rojo. El cambio de nombre a Faro de Kampen se llevó a cabo en 1975. El 1 de marzo de 1856, su luz brilló por primera vez. El aparato de luz originalmente utilizado con suministro de petróleo fue en ese momento una revolución técnica, que fue mostrada en la Exposición Mundial de París en 1855.
