La ferry de Wittower es una conexión de ferry para peatones y vehículos desde el territorio principal de la isla de Rügen, el Muttland, hasta la península de Wittow en el norte. También le dio su nombre a la localidad de Wittower Fähre del municipio de Wiek. Esta se encuentra en el Rassower Strom en el estrecho saliente de tierra entre el Wieker Bodden y el Breetzer Bodden en la orilla norte. En la orilla sur se encuentra el embarcadero del ferry entre las localidades de Vaschvitz y Fischersiedlung del municipio de Trent.
Cuando en inviernos severos las superficies de agua de los Bodden se congelan, en este estrecho de aproximadamente 350 m de ancho, la corriente del y hacia el Gran Jasmunder Bodden mantiene abiertas las últimas áreas de agua y ofrece refugio a muchas aves acuáticas.
