La Torre Agbar es un rascacielos inaugurado en el año 2005, diseño del arquitecto francés Jean Nouvel. Para la peculiar forma de la torre, Nouvel se inspiró en la sierra de Montserrat y en la forma de una columna de agua expulsada por un géiser. La gente de Barcelona no obstante le ha concedido otros apodos como “el supositorio”. El edificio ya forma parte del panorama urbano de la ciudad y es le tercer edificio más alto de Barcelona detrás del Hotel Arts y la Torre Mapfre. Un elemento muy característico del edificio es su iluminación nocturna. Dispone de más de 4.000 dispositivos luminosos que utilizan la tecnología LED y que permiten la generación de imágenes luminosas en su fachada.
