San Juan[1] es una villa y municipio de la comunidad autónoma de Islas Baleares, España. Situado en el centro de la isla de Mallorca, San Juan, antes conocido como San Juan de Sinéu, fue fundado el año 1300. Colinda con los términos municipales de Petra, Villafranca de Bonany, Porreras, Montuiri, Lloret de Vista Alegre y Sinéu. Celebra la fiesta patronal el día de San Juan Degollado, el 29 de agosto. El 24 de junio se celebra la fiesta del «Sol que Baila», coincidiendo con el solsticio de verano. Otras fiestas son el Cuarto Domingo o del Pan y el Pez y la Fiesta del Butifarrón, a principios de octubre.
