Torrox es un municipio y localidad de España, en la provincia de Málaga, comunidad autónoma de Andalucía. Está situado en la Costa del Sol Oriental, a orillas del mar Mediterráneo y al pie de la Sierra de Almijara a unos 42 kilómetros de distancia de Málaga capital. Es la cabeza del partido judicial que lleva su nombre y uno de los municipios que conforman la comarca de la Axarquía y la Mancomunidad de Municipios de la Costa del Sol-Axarquía.
