Valverde es un municipio y pueblo español perteneciente a la provincia de Santa Cruz de Tenerife, en la isla de El Hierro, de la que es capital.
El escudo heráldico de Valverde fue aprobado por Decreto de 11 de abril de 1969, siendo su descripción la de un escudo «de azul, en su centro un árbol Garoé de oro, terrazado de sinople, destilando gotas de plata perfiladas de sable, surgiendo de un charco de plata. Al timbre, corona condal».[1]
