Palau de Santa Eulalia,[1] , es un municipio español de la provincia de Gerona, situado en la comarca catalana del Alto Ampurdán.Se extiende por el extremo occidental de la plana del Alto Ampurdán, a la izquierda del río Fluvià, el cual hace de línea divisoria con el municipio vecino de Sant Mori. Años atrás era conocido con el nombre de Palau Sardiaca, topónimo derivado del dominio que tuvieron los ardiacas de la diócesis de Gerona, señores del castillo. A partir del siglo XIV aparecen como señores los ardiacas de Besalú. Palacio que fue abandonado durante la guerra civil catalana del siglo XV.
