Guils de Cerdaña[2] es un municipio español de la provincia de Gerona situado en la comarca de la Baja Cerdaña, en la comunidad autónoma de Cataluña. Se encuentra entre el río Aravó y el monte Pedrós, cercano a Puigcerdà.El sector de trabajo más importante en la actualidad del municipio es el turismo, ya que ha creado muchos trabajos en la construcción y otros servicios. Aunque también haya bastante gente que se dedique al sector agrícola. Actualmente hay la estación de esquí nórdico de guils fontanera, un gran lugar turístico en época de invierno, para practicar esquí nórdico. También en otoño donde hay abundancia de setas. La gran cantidad de actividades ha hecho que la gente se comprase casas de segunda residencia, cosa que ha facilitado el surgimiento de nuevos servicios como jardinería y limpieza.
