Grañén es una localidad y un municipio de la comarca de los Monegros en la provincia de Huesca . Tiene una población de 1738 habitantes . El término municipal comprende también los pueblos de Callén, Curbe, Fraella y Montesusín.
Grañén está emplazado en una pequeña elevación sobre la planicie monegrina a 332 msnm, al norte de la depresión del Ebro, próxima al río Flumen. Dista unos 23 km de la capital, Huesca, y 69 km de Zaragoza.
Su temperatura media anual es de 14,2 °C y su precipitación anual de 580 mm.
