El Tiemblo es un municipio y localidad española de la provincia de Ávila, en la comunidad autónoma de Castilla y León. Está situado al sureste de la provincia, en la comarca de Burgohondo-Cebreros-El Tiemblo. En 2017 el municipio tenía 4143 habitantes.El escudo y bandera municipales fueron aprobados oficialmente por decreto el 17 de julio de 1995. El blasón en el que se basa el escudo heráldico municipal es el siguiente:
