San Jaime de Llierca[1] es un municipio y localidad española de la provincia de Gerona, en Cataluña. Perteneciente a la comarca de la Garrocha, tiene una población de 852 habitantes .
El río Fluviá divide el término en dos grandes áreas, a la izquierda el terreno es plano y se encuentra la mayoría de la población así como la actividad industrial, mientras en la parte derecha del río el terreno es accidentado y con bosque de pinos y robles, cuando el Fluviá atraviesa el pueblo confluye con el río Llierca que es el que marca el límite de su término municipal. Al norte y oeste limita con Montagut y Oix, al este con Argelaguer y con las poblaciones de San Juan les Fonts, Santa Pau y San Ferreol al sur.
