Escalona del Prado es un municipio de España, en la provincia de Segovia en el territorio de la Campiña Segoviana, comunidad autónoma de Castilla y León. Tiene una superficie de 31,79 km².
El marquesado de Escalona, otorgado por el rey Carlos II el 12 de junio de 1679 a Íñigo de Acuña y Castro —quien había comprado la villa a Pedro de la Cerda— toma su nombre de este municipio.[1]
