Lodosa es un pueblo y municipio navarro, situado en la merindad de Estella, en la Ribera del Alto Ebro y a 72 km de la capital de la comunidad, Pamplona. Su población en 2017 fue de 4730 habitantes .La localidad de Lodosa se encuentra situada en la parte suroccidental de la Comunidad Foral de Navarra en la Merindad de Estella, dentro de la subcomarca geográfica denominada Ribera Estellesa. Su término municipal tiene una superficie de 45,67 km² y limita al norte con Sesma, al este con Sartaguda y Carcar, al sur con Pradejon y Ausejo en La Rioja y al oeste con Alcanadre en La Rioja y Sesma.
