Rubió[4] es un municipio rural de la comarca de [la Anoia |Anoia]], en la provincia de Barcelona, comunidad autónoma de Cataluña, España. Está situado al norte de la comarca y en el límite con la del Bages.
El terreno del término municipal es de roca caliza y se caracteriza por grandes desniveles de terreno debido a lo accidentado del terreno de la sierra de Rubió . La zona forestal del término ocupa unas 3000 ha, la vegetación mayoritaria actualmente del término son los pinares de pino blanco con roble y encina y la maleza de romero. En 1986 tuvo lugar un gran incendio que hizo desparecer toda la cubierta de bosques frondosos de pino blanco y encinares.
