Begas,[1][2][3] , es un municipio de la comarca del Bajo Llobregat, en la provincia de Barcelona, Cataluña, España. Su población es de 7300 habitantes . Está situado en el sur-oeste de la comarca, y el territorio municipal cubre la mayor parte del macizo del Garraf, incluyendo los picos de Montau y de la Morella . Está conectado con Olesa de Bonesvalls y con Gavá por una carretera comarcal, considerada como punto negro por sus pronunciadas curvas.
