Palau de Plegamans[2] [3] es un municipio situado en la comarca del Vallés Occidental, en la provincia de Barcelona, comunidad autónoma de Cataluña, España.[4][5]
Se encuentra situado en la comarca del Vallés Occidental y dista unos 32 kilómetros de la ciudad de Barcelona. El municipio alcanzó en la época de los noventa la cifra de diez mil habitantes y en la actualidad su censo está formado por 14 771 habitantes, lo que implica que sea el duodécimo municipio más poblado del Vallés Occidental. Además, este municipio es un importante nudo de comunicaciones por carretera y autopista, sede de grandes multinacionales.[6]
