Calpe[2] [3][4] es un municipio de la provincia de Alicante, Comunidad Valenciana , situado en la costa norte de la provincia de Alicante, en la comarca de la Marina Alta. Cuenta con 22 725 habitantes , de los cuales más del 47 % son de nacionalidad extranjera.
En su costa se alza majestuosamente el peñón de Ifach, una mole rocosa de 332 m de altura. Dicho peñón es uno de los símbolos de la Costa Blanca.
