La Casa de la Ciudad de Barcelona, que es el edificio y sede del Ayuntamiento de Barcelona, se encuentra en el centro histórico de la ciudad, enfrente del Palacio de la Generalidad de Cataluña. Su construcción se ha realizado a través de diversos siglos. La fachada principal actual, situada en la plaza de San Jaime, data de 1847, aunque su origen es de 1369, cuando se empezó a construir el Salón de Ciento, origen de la historia del ayuntamiento de Barcelona.
