El Monumento Natural del Roque Nublo, más conocido simplemente como Roque Nublo, es uno de los espacios naturales más emblemáticos de la isla de Gran Canaria . Las isla de Gran Canaria se formó en tres ciclos eruptivos y concretamente el Roque Nublo se formó durante el segundo ciclo eruptivo.
Está ubicado dentro del parque rural del Nublo y se encuentra situado en el centro geográfico de la isla, sobre tierras del municipio de Tejeda, en una zona muy abrupta.[2]
Junto al Roque Nublo se encuentran otras formaciones rocosas singulares, tales como el llamado Roque del Fraile y La Rana.
