Puente de Vallecas es una estación de la línea 1 del Metro de Madrid situada en la confluencia de la avenida de la Ciudad de Barcelona, la avenida de la Albufera y la autopista M-30, entre los distritos de Retiro y Puente de Vallecas, del que toma su nombre.
La estación se abrió al público el 8 de mayo de 1923[1] dentro de la ampliación de la línea 1 desde la estación de Atocha hasta esta estación, siendo terminal de la línea hasta el 2 de julio de 1962.[2] La estación fue reformada para ampliar los andenes en los años 60 y en los años 2000 para cambiar las bóvedas y paredes, mejorar la instalación eléctrica e impermeabilizar los techos.
