La casa consistorial de Sevilla es un edificio del siglo XVI. Es el primero de estilo plateresco realizado en España.[1] Es la sede del Ayuntamiento de Sevilla.
En la Edad Media se construyó junto a un lienzo de muralla el corral de los Olmos. Este se encontraba junto a la fachada este de la catedral y la fachada principal del palacio arzobispal, en el entorno de la actual plaza Virgen de los Reyes. El corral de los Olmos albergaba el cabildo municipal y el cabildo catedralicio, que era el propietario de todo el conjunto.[2] El cabildo municipal era de estilo mudéjar y se realizaron obras en el mismo en 1437, dirigidas por el maestro de obras del Alcázar, Hamete, y por el maestro albañil Abraham.[3] A comienzos del siglo XVI los maestros de obras Francisco Jiménez y Bartolomé Díaz hicieron una portada mudéjar.[4]
